Letter From the Editor

I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the writers and artists who were willing to take the chance on a brand new project. It’s hard to put into words just how much it means to me that I can present everyone with a first issue that features work of this quality.

Putting this issue together was, unsurprisingly, more work than I expected. Formatting poems for a website was a series of trail and errors that eventually led me to using images to protect the integrity of the line breaks and spacing. And of course, as a new project, I didn’t quite get all of the submissions we needed. To make up for this, I’ve borrowed from Issue 0 and linked to a few pieces I like from other publications. While not what I’d expected, I can’t help but pleased that I can continue to direct readers to works in other literary magazines and further support this community.

I hope you enjoy the work I’ve curated here, and that you share it with others. Writers need to write, but they also need to be read. I’m so fortunate to be able to create a space for that.

With love and gratitude,

Kameron Ray Morton
